Dear Web Editor community,

A lot has changed recently, including a rapid transition to working from home and influx of new work priorities. The Web Operations Team would like to assure you that we are still here to offer support and guidance with your editing duties but we’re evolving how we help you.

What’s changing

We’re piloting an initiative to offer web editing support via Microsoft Teams (MS teams), a collaboration platform which supports chat and video calls. You can use the team space to:
• ask an editing question
• get help and support with web editing tasks
• support other co-editors.

As always, the emphasis will be to equip and empower you with information and knowledge to help you with editing tasks by providing instructions and information.

The team space will temporarily replace the drop-in lab sessions. Depending on demand, we will consider running specific online group sessions on topics such as editing accordions, creating events and creating news announcements. We will keep you informed of these developments.

You will still need to log a request for web operations tasks such as permissions, new pages, redirects, changes to the information architecture. Any editing support requests sent to our inboxes will be forwarded to MS Teams.

When can I contact you?

The team space will be checked at the beginning of the day, the middle and 4pm. We will endeavour to answer your question within one business day.

How to set up MS Teams?
