Headings help guide your user through your page. Acting as a guide, headings can break up blocks of text and make your page scannable.
Headings help the reader understand what they are about to read, or quickly jump to a particular topic they’re looking for.
Information services (IS) have upgraded our ClearCache tool. The URL and functionality will remain the same with a visual update and faster caching ability.
As content editors we use our CMS’s simple edit mode to edit and update our site. This interface allows us to perform quick updates to content. Did you know that if you are editing your page, it means others cannot?

These components and layouts are part of La Trobe’s Design System and they help deliver consistent web experiences. When you accept the responsibilities of a CMS editor it is important to understand the expectations of your role.
A CMS editor role requires you to regularly update and maintain content on a webpage.
Whilst managing and editing content is vital, presenting content in line with La Trobe’s standards, guidelines and policies is also crucial.
The internet has changed the way we live our lives. It’s supported knowledge sharing, creativity, innovation and connection. However, like any information storage system, often it is a case of ‘set and forget’, meaning once your ‘Planning for 2013’ page has been published, it will most likely still exist.
