Thank you to everyone who provided their feedback on the Web Editor Blog survey released in March 2022.

We are committed to providing our web editor community useful and relevant resources to support you with your editing duties.

The survey was designed to help us understand how you use the Web Editor Blog, how helpful editors found this resource and the topics you wanted to see more of this year.

Survey findings

  2. content operations – (steps to maintain, optimize and ensure your content is compliant i.e. Siteimprove); and
  3. content design – (how to publish content that meets your audience’s needs).

Recommendations

The survey findings will be used to improve the following areas:

1. Review future blog topics

We will provide more blog articles in line with what responders identified as being the most relevant topics to their editing duties and what they would like the blog to focus on this year.

2. Communication tools

The team will review the communication tools we use to share blog articles with you. We currently notify our editors once a new article has been published on the Web Editor Blog and Announcements Microsoft Teams channel. We recommend all editors regularly check the CMS Editor Support Teams channel.

3. Integrate resources

We will explore integrating resources located on other platforms (such as the Intranet) on the Web Editor Blog. This will ensure all our support resources are connected and easy to find so you don’t miss out.

4. What our editors can do

While there are actions we will take to support you, there are steps you can take to increase your CMS knowledge and actively find the answers to your questions.

We recommend all editors bookmark and visit the Web Editor Blog, along with the Web User Guide and Web and Digital resources intranet pages. You can also post your questions on the CMS Editor Support Microsoft Teams channel.
