Did you know we hold a monthly web editor lab session? It’s a set hour where you can come along and work on you web editing tasks or ask our team questions about your duties.
To help give insights about what actually happens at a lab session, and what it means for our editors, we had a chat with one of our regular attendees, Sarah.
Why do you like coming to the lab sessions?
‘I like coming to these labs because it’s so calm and relaxed. You can just ask any question and you guys are here to help and are totally unphased by whatever it is I ask. It’s amazing! If I don’t have any questions, I can just sit here and work on my projects. It’s a good focus time for editing.’
How has the lab sessions helped with your editing?
It’s made me a lot more confident with my web editing. The little tips and tricks you guys give me are great as well.’
Why do you like web editing?
‘I like web editing because I like the control it gives me. I like making our website more efficient and easy to access. I want to create a website that works well and is more helpful to our users.’
